Starting in 2009, the KCA will annually recognize those persons who have shown outstanding support for the KCA and the knife collecting community in general.
At our Knife Show in June 2009, we were very pleased to induct our first two members into the KCA Hall of Fame.
Barry Carithers - 2009 Inductee

Carithers has been a long-time member and supporter of the KCA, the NKCA, and
the knife collecting community in general.
Through his research and vast knowledge of knives, he has helped to enlighten and educate many of us with his writing and generous contributions to our newsletters. Barry has also generously given of himself in countless ways to support the KCA.
Gary Reasor - 2009 Inductee
Gary

collecting. He is currently serving as our Treasurer and on the KCA Board of
Directors.
Jim Haberman - 2010 Inductee

Our dear friend Jim Haberman passed away on September 6, 2009. Jim was an active member of the KCA and had served in many of it's offices during his membership. He had been President, Vice-President, Secretary, Editor of The Bolster, and served on the KCA Board of Directors.
Jim was the face of the KCA to many who visited our table at the knife shows. He is greatly missed by all of us and it is our honor to have known him. We are proud to add his name to the KCA Hall of Fame.
Jerry Bodner - 2010 Inductee
Jerry
Bodner has served as President of the Kentucky Cutlery Association, show
chairman, and has been a long time supporter of the KCA and knife collecting.
It is our pleasure to induct Jerry into the KCA Hall of Fame at our 2009 Christmas Party.
